He worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Microelectronics at the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iue.tuwien.ac.at\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #808080; text-decoration: underline;\">Technical University of Vienna<\/span><\/a><\/span> in Austria until 2013. He is currently a Professor at the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.warwick.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #808080; text-decoration: underline;\">University of Warwick<\/span><\/a><\/span> in the UK. He was awarded the <a href=\"https:\/\/cordis.europa.eu\/project\/id\/678763\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong>2015 ERC Starting Grant <\/strong><\/span><\/a>and\u00a0the\u00a0<a style=\"color: #2266aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/projects-and-results\/erc-funded-projects\/nanothermma?retain-filters=1\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/projects-and-results\/erc-funded-projects\/nanothermma?retain-filters%3D1&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1647809870898000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2iIiSqqsHeXj3aeJBA5UI1\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong style=\"color: #666666;\">2021 ERC Consolidator Grant<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0from the European Commission. His area of specialisation is theory, computational modelling and simulation of transport in nanoelectronic devices. He has worked extensively on theoretical modelling of atomistic and quantum effects on the electronic properties of nanoscale devices and materials.
